Self Care Ideas and Activities For a Healthy Mind, Body and Soul

A few years ago, I was very busy with my work and in taking care of my loved ones, I used to not have time for myself. After a few days, I felt stressful and was not satisfied with myself. Then I decided to slow down and I started doing activities which I love like Gardening on Sundays, reading a good book at night, I started giving some time for myself and then I could see a lot of changes in myself. I became more productive, more confident, my self-esteem has increased and I became a better caretaker.

Self-care routine keeps your mind, body and soul healthy. I would say that everyone should have a self-care routine even when your to-do list is very long.

The first 10 are very important to make sure you follow every day.

  1. Go for a solo walk.
  2. Drink more water.
  3. Do yoga, pilates or any exercise.

  5. Meditate once a day.
  6. Make your bed after you wake up.
  7. Stop talking to toxic people.
